      A 2D Echo Color Doppler test is a type of echocardiography that combines two-dimensional ultrasound imaging with colour Doppler technology to provide detailed images of the heart and blood flow.
      The test can diagnose and monitor various heart and blood vessel conditions, such as heart valve disorders, congenital heart defects, pulmonary hypertension, and blood clots.
      No, the test is non-invasive, painless, and safe. It involves no radiation exposure or injections, and there is no risk of side effects or complications.
      The test is performed by a trained cardiologist. A transducer is placed on the chest, and high-frequency sound waves are emitted to create images of the heart and blood vessels. Color Doppler technology is used to visualize and assess blood flow.
      The test usually takes 10-15 minutes, and you can get the provisional results immediately after the test (verbally). All the reports are ready by the end of the day i.e. for tests done till the afternoon, reports are prepared by 5 pm or by the next day. If you need the report urgently, please place a request with the reception staff, they will get the type and print the report within 5-10 minutes.
